The Course and Unit Builder

Testing and feedback

If you are involved in any aspect of course or unit design at the University of Tasmania, we would value your input to make this application more user-friendly. The Course functionality of the Course and Unit Builder had a beta Go-Live at the end of 2020, and we are still completing a number of rounds of final testing in early 2021. There are a number of ways in which you may be able to help us.

Organised testing sessions

We frequently need small numbers of testers to engage in 1:1 or small group sessions to test specific aspects of the Course and Unit Builder. It doesn't matter whether you have had a chance to use the application or not, your perspective is valuable either way. If you have any experience with designing a unit or course, and think you might be able to spare an hour, please let us know below.

Beta testing the course builder

The course builder is the newest part to the application, and we are keen to do some real-world testing with some real people and their real course designs. If you are in the early stages or about to start designing or revising a University of Tasmania course and would like to access the CUB for this purpose, please let us know below.

It is important to note that as the name suggests, this component of the application is early in its development and will have significant room for improvement - we are hoping that early adopters can help identify bugs and other possible improvements.

Quick feedback

Already using the CUB and noticed something you think could be improved? Let us know below. We periodically review feedback as a source of input to help prioritise the 'backlog' of proposed features.

This is not a place to get quick responses to your questions: if you have a CUB question for which you need a response, please use one of the channels on the Support page.
