The Course and Unit Builder application is designed to be used by a range of people across the University of Tasmania. These are the key groups who may choose to use the CUB:

Course and unit designers
People contributing to designing qualifications and/or units including Course Co-ordinators, Unit Co-ordinators, Academic Teaching Staff and Academic Development Staff.
These people are the primary users of the Course and Unit Builder application, they are able to use the Course and Unit Builder to design and/or review units (and courses, when the course builder component is released more widely in 2021).

Curriculum stakeholders
Professional roles who are likely to consult with Course and Unit Designers at various stages of the curriculum lifecycle. These roles may include School Business Managers, Content Experts, Academic Quality Representatives, Financial and Administrative Representatives and Copyright and Intellectual Property advisors.
These people are crucial to the success of the Course and Unit Builder as we contend that they can serve a valuable role as a source of feedback or input into the design and review of curriculum. They will benefit from becoming familiar with the Course and Unit Builder in order to efficiently contribute to the relevance, efficiency and quality of curriculum.

Stakeholders in approval and endorsement
School Learning & Teaching, College Learning & Teaching, UCUPC and Academic Senate forums.
These forums have the option of using curriculum visualisations exported from the Course and Unit Builder to inform review and endorsement. We envisage that school and college level forums will benefit most from this component of the Course and Unit Builder.
